Lesley is an interdisciplinary problem solver with creative and professional practices covering media relations, service design and delivery, and content development.
She currently drives the growth strategy of JC Legal, building strategic partnerships and initiatives as well as strengthening cross-border capabilities of the firm. Prior to joining the legal industry, she worked at the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, coordinating media publicity for international trade exhibitions.
Lesley graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a BA in English Studies and Comparative Literature. She possesses extensive international experience in the Netherlands, Germany and Malaysia, among other countries.
In her spare time, she advises on interdisciplinary learning at the HKU Common Core as an alumni consultant, writes about social innovation and urban culture on A City Made By People magazine, and translates texts for major art exhibitions, organisations and events. She has also been assisting in user research and design for public services in Hong Kong including public libraries and road assessment for pedestrian safety.
She is fluent in English and Cantonese, with working proficiency in Mandarin and speaks conversational German (A2).
