We are an educational innovator seeking to transform the way lessons are delivered by incorporating videogames into study in a way that is engaging for students, effective for teachers and conducive to learning.
As a medium, videogames have become more sophisticated, to the point that they are now something that we can learn from. We produce materials that allow schools to bring gaming into the classroom, improving the learning experience for all involved and bringing the delivery of lessons in line with the habits of students in the 21st century.
We bring video games into the classroom in ways that compliment and enhance the learning experience, incorporating them alongside existing areas of study to reinforce, refine and cultivate academic competency. In addition, we bring the pedagogical approach that best realizes these aims, with complete courses, sample materials, lesson guides and hardware to make the experience a rewarding one all involved.
Bring out the best in those you teach by making the learning experience more engaging and immersive! That is our aim, and as we work to 'Make Gaming Educational', we will also make the learning experience more enjoyable for all the parties involved.
You will represent the point where subject knowledge and course development combine! The Edugaming Course Instructor will be involved in the development and delivery of the material for the CICERO 'Game2Learn' extracurricular English study courses. They will work together with team members on the projects involving different gaming titles, producing exciting content to be used in classrooms both in-person and remotely.
The Instructor must have a pre-existing knowledge of the Hong Kong DSE and IGCSE courses (taken by students in Hong Kong Secondary schools) from which they can draw on their experience of the syllabuses and applicable pedagogical approaches to produce plans, curriculum outlines, study guides, teacher training materials, and all related course material.
Those who have completed higher level studies in the educational field, or who have a knowledge of course design, will really be able to build and refine these skills.
