The primary role of the Community Manager would be right-up-front in the building relationships and connections with new and current business development opportunities in APAC and EMEA. In clear-speak we’ll be expecting you to find, court, and sell to both new and old customers and support lease negotiations with landlords. We’ll be expecting you to come with contacts for these sectors.
This position includes working with our CEO and Directors to execute on our BD strategy, growing the avenues that work comes to Garage, and manage client relationships in line with our values. You’ll be having lots of phone calls, Zoom calls, connecting with networking groups; we expect to see you repping Garage even in your sleep.
In addition to the relationship/networking component, you’ll need the ability to identify client needs, take detailed briefs and then coordinate the early conceptualization of deal structures. You’ll also be required to run a part of our day-to-day operation, everything lives in there.

Minimum of 3 years experience working in the co-working industry
Experience and exposure in APAC and EMEA market
Experience in client relationship or related roles, bringing a range of corporate contact with you
Highly organised and be able to manage own workload, priorities and tasks to achieve outcomes
Ability to work successfully in a distributed team
Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities
Ability to run a client database like a boss
Utilise opportunities to market, promote and share our work with key audiences on a regular basis
Communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships
Coordinating ongoing post-experience communication with client
Degree or relevant tertiary qualification in marketing/project management and or/business development
Fluent in English language with good presentation skills. Fluent in German and/or French and/or Dutch is preferred.
Experience supporting sales and marketing teams and/or working in start-up environment.
