KitKat allows consumers to take a break and at the same time share it with others. With our target audience being 14 to 25 year-olds who have busy lifestyles, we decided to use humour to attract their attention.
 
Our bus stop ad is a before and after changing static. Using aggressive and bloodthirsty gladiators to exaggerate the situation, the first scene shown will be something expected; a gladiator on the verge of killing another. However, on the very next scene by replacing the tools of war with a KitKat, it looks as if they are both taking a break, and one of them is offering the other a KitKat.

Our 3D/interactive ad involves a game machine installation at the bus stop. The design is a mixture of arcade and vending machines. In the interval between bus arrivals, people can play the game and take a short break. The KitKat bar that will be dispensed upon completing the game can be broken and shared.
