【好懇想轉工】歐聯與搵工之我見

只要大家上網打「見工」呢兩個字,已經有無數嘅「x個常見扣分位」、「x大見工注意事項」等等,所以今次筆者想同大家講嘅,唔係周圍都見到嘅「罐頭貨」,而係一位朋友(下稱K)最近嘅親身經歷。

話說對上呢個weekend適逢歐聯決賽,K忽然間約咗筆者出去睇波,由於佢本身做電視台(邊個台就唔講啦),所以平時要見佢一面真係難過登天,於是筆者當然奉陪,同佢「摸吓酒杯底」。

結果一見面,K嘅表情同嗰個星期嘅天氣一樣──愁雲慘霧。

😏:點呀,咁得閒搵我睇波,唔使返工咩?
🧟‍♂️:我辭咗職啦…成日都要我返足一個星期通宵,第二個星期又要返早,編埋哂啲_更,搞唔掂啲「jet lag」呀。

前提係K已經做咗一年有多,所以筆者都好佩服佢可以捱到咁耐「飛」人生活。

🥳:咁咪幾好囉,家陣大把工畀你揀,飲返杯賀賀佢先啦。
🤦🏻‍♂️:我都唔知自己想做咩,之前見咗幾間㗎啦,又冇回音,都係抖吓先再算啦。

喺呢個時候,偏偏熱刺一開波就輸咗個12碼,而K家陣嘅狀態就好似熱刺咁,搵唔到攻勢之餘,仲要成場畀利物浦「蹂躪」,簡單啲講即係慘不忍睹。

筆者綜合咗K成晚講嘅嘢同大家留過嘅comments,分別有幾樣嘢想同大家分享吓,希望大家就算輸緊1比0,都有機會可以「反cup」:

1.「有咩係唔辛苦㗎!」

的而且確,除非你係一個工作狂,否則返工總會有辛苦嘅時候,但問題係:辛苦嘅時間佔幾多呢?

有人每日返工都想死,有人日日畀老闆捽;都有人返工覺得辛苦但學到嘢,返到去又同班同事有講有笑。如果係前者的話,點解唔搵一個令自己覺得開心啲嘅工作環境呢?

2.「都唔知自己想做咩,點搵呀?」

筆者一畢業都有呢個煩惱,而當年有個professor就咁講:「你唔試就梗係唔知啦,咁後生怕咩試?試完唔鍾意咪搵過另一份囉。」

其實做人好多時都係elimination game,有邊個一畢業就知自己想做咩㗎?

咁咪好似以前做mc咁,唔識做咪用「剔除法」,試過幾個工種之後,總會有個大方向出嚟,例如你鍾唔鍾意同人social、抗唔抗拒做admin嘢等等。最緊要知道自己唔鍾意啲咩先,然後慢慢就會知道自己想要啲咩。

3.「肯搵又點,都冇interview…」

嗱,最起碼肯行第一步已經嬴咗一半,而冇interview都不外乎嗰啲原因:CV、cover letter、email……

第一件事就check哂有冇錯grammar、錯字、錯format先,而家呢個年代,又有Word又有Grammarly,咁都有得錯就冇計啦。

之後就諗吓自己係咪每份工都send一式一樣嘅CV同cover letter啦,有master template唔係問題,但都要對返每份工有啲咩條件同要求㗎嘛,就好似你去茶記嗌杯凍奶茶,都唔想人哋畀杯凍檸茶你㗎。

4.「見極都唔請,都唔知啲HR想點…」

唔好諗人哋想點住,如果你見十份,十份都唔請你嘅話,係咪要諗吓自己點先?

筆者就睇過有「巴打」教路,可以試吓interview嘅時候手機開錄音,完咗又可以聽返自己對答點,如果唔覺有問題(好多人都會覺得冇乜問題),咪搵啲朋友一齊聽吓,總會有啲得著嘅。

其他嗰啲「x大見工必備問題」就唔多講啦,大家可以上網隨便睇,反正「天下文章一大抄」。而筆者希望嘅,都只係大家搵到一份啱自己嘅工。與其每日返工都怨辛苦,點解唔搵一間辛苦得值得嘅公司呢?

或者搵好公司係難,但唔搵唔試的話,到最後你怨嘅可能係自己。
